Born and raised in the Montreal area, Bruce Calder has had a longtime interest in politics and government, including a run in the 1989 Quebec provincial election as a candidate for the Equality Party finishing third in a field of six.
Bruce received a college degree in Computer Science in 1984 and has worked in the high tech industry since then, starting CALDER.NET in 1996, which was re-launched in 2003 with Bruce as editor/writer as a forum for selected writers to publish works on a variety of topics.
