South Florida is one of Americas #1 travel destinations with a delightful mixture of culture, sports, entertainment, fine dining, and spectacular lodging.

Set among a beautiful Mediterranean style tropical garden in scenic Lake Worth, Florida is the charming Bed and Breakfast, The Mango Inn located at 128 Lakeside Drive, Lake worth, Florida.

Owners, Bo and Erin Allen, decided it was time for a career change and made their dreams come true when they took a walk on the wild side and purchased an old run down home in 1995, and revitalized it into a luxurious and popular bed and breakfast.

Erin enthusiastically spreads around her charming personality and elegant smile among her guests. Every morning she prepares a poolside breakfast for them featuring special recipes from her published cookbook, The Best of the Best from the kitchen of the Mango Inn, containing such entrees as buttermilk mango pancakes with candied pecans, artichoke, smoked ham, goat cheese strata, as well as Bo's favorite, bacon and cheese waffles.

The Inn's eight luxurious guest rooms are uniquely decorated with a combination of Victorian and Key West flavor and include private baths, fine linens, down pillows, robes and hair dryers. A few of the rooms include TV's, VCR's and refrigerators but most guests do not spend much time in their rooms because of the relaxing atmosphere by the pool listening to the sounds of the waterfalls and the birds chirping. You can feel the warm Atlantic breeze and smell the tropical mangos as you bask in the sunshine sipping on a chardonnay. "Everything is so calm and relaxing around here, it's definitely a dream come true," said Erin.

Regular guests, Mike and Lorraine Rickard, from Fraser, Michigan said that they love staying at the Mango Inn. For the past three years they have spent a month's vacation in the poolside cottage. "We enjoy being this close to the beach and Bo and Erin are wonderful people," they said.

Other amenities offered by the Inn include complimentary bicycles, beach chairs and towels for their guest to use during their stay. With everything close by, you can enjoy the city of Lake Worth, known as the treasure hunter's paradise by spending your time browsing the numerous galleries and antique and exquisite specialty boutiques set amidst lush gardens and fountains.

"Guests are always asking us, where is the best place to eat dinner, we tell them that some of our favorites are Digs (in the Gulfstream Hotel, only a block in a half walk from the inn), Dave's Last Resort, if they like burgers and Paradiso and Cuco Pazzo Café if they enjoy Italian," said The Allens.
