Born on Sort Air Force Base in 1968, Templeton grew up mostly in New Jersey, Tennessee and Alaska. Templeton's father was a career military officer serving in Vietnam from 1968 to 1973, and worked in Beirut from 1979 to 1984 as a military consultant.
Templeton earned a B.S. in Psychology with an emphases in propaganda in the media, and has been an advisor to several politicians at both the State and local level, including Tennessee Congressman Bart Gordon, and Nashville City Councillor Ronnie Stein.
Including working as a personal aid to Palestine political analyst Marwan Al-Kiami, Templeton has gained extensive experience in Middle Eastern affairs.
